Gravity and Grace (States of Motherhood) examines the complexity of the roles as a mother.  Concrete forms serve as support, offering a foundation for emerging foam shapes.  Bendable plywood shelters a seed, agonizing in effort, but brilliant and strong. The forms are simultaneously cemented in place and burgeoning open, The work speaks of the brutality and beauty of serving as a vessel, both physically and emotionally.
